Watch this moon balloon terrorise the streets of China after becoming loose

A giant moon balloon has caused havoc on the streets of China after it became loose and rolled away during Typhoon Meranti.

Rolling over cars and bouncing towards pedestrians as it made its way through the streets of Fuzhou in eastern China, the giant balloon was part of celebrations for the mid-autumn moon festival, one of the most important celebrations of the year.

Footage shows the giant ball rolling along with the cityscape in the background, with some taking to Twitter to suggest it could be an idea for a Hollywood blockbuster.

Reports claim the balloon eventually deflated, without causing any injury or damage.
