A man requested his hotel room be decorated with photos of Jeff Goldblum

We've all been tempted to request something random when we're booking a hotel room, but most of us chicken out at the last minute.

However, one man decided to go through with his bizarre request when he booked into the The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica for his friend's wedding. The hotel staff pulled it off in the most spectacular way.

Seth Freedland knew that his girlfriend would love nothing better than "a few framed photos" of her favourite actor Jeff Goldblum dotted around their room when they went in.

Of course, the super-friendly hotel staff went above and beyond for Seth, by placing numerous head shots of Jeff in the bathroom, in the living area and even on the bedside tables.

"When I made my reservation at The Huntley for Stephanie and Andrew's wedding, I was asked if there was anything else they could do to make my stay more comfortable," Seth wrote on Facebook.

"I thought about it, and thought about what might delight the [girlfriend], and asked if they might be able to place a few framed photos of Jeff Goldblum in the room.

"I wasn't sure if it would actually happen until we got to the hotel..."

Seth couldn't believe it when the hotel pulled through with his request and the look on his girlfriend's face says it all.

Freedland told the Huffington Post he was half-joking when he made the request but is extremely happy he did it now.

“Specifically, she’s a big fan of Independence Day-era ‘heroic Goldblum.’ I’m more a Big Chill Goldblum man myself, but you really can’t go wrong,” Freedland said.
