“Going to every country was for me a personal quest to learn as much as I could about our world, stepping outside my comfort zone and becoming comfortable in the unknown,” Cassie revealed.

Cassie’s incredible travels haven’t come cheap though.

With a budget of $270,000 spent on nearly 300 flights, and with just over a month to tick off the final 16 countries, Cassie has been sponsored by various companies and received donations to help fund the educational documentary she is filming.

“If I’m not meeting with the Ministry, giving keynote sessions to university students, collecting samples, obtaining visas, or doing promotion, I travel around the country on my own, but not for long,” she reveals.

Cassie spends two day on average in every country and also promotes hotels on her social media to help with accommodation costs.

While she admits it hasn’t been easy travelling as a woman, Cassie hasn’t been afraid to speak out and leave situations where she hasn’t felt comfortable.

“Lows [of travelling] are flying, being in airports, and not being in a safe enough environment to go for a run,” she says.
