Five holidays to vacay like a Kardashian

Love or hate them, there’s no denying the Kardashians know how to holiday.

This week Kim, Kourtney and the gang have been on a girl’s trip in Mexico, and it’s not the first time we’ve been envious of their travels.

From a villa in the rainforest in Costa Rica to a beach resort in Thailand, here are some of the spots they’ve stayed.

Casa Aramara, Mexico

This exclusive villa in Punta Mita, just outside Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s pacific coast, is a favourite of the Kardashians.

Before Kim, Kourtney and a group of their girlfriends headed there this week, Kim and Kanye had also stayed there. The 12-room property can host up to 20 guests and costs a minimum of USD $12,000 per night, with a minimum booking of three nights. Yowza!

But Casa Aramara is no ordinary home. It’s got a private stretch of beach, multiple pools, 30 full-time staff including five-star chefs, tennis courts and a spa.

If you don’t want to drop your life savings on one night at a villa in Mexico, there are other luxury resorts in Punta Mita that cost a fraction of the price.

The nearby Four Seasons Punta Mita is a five-star property on a white sand and turquoise water beach, with stylish rooms and a sleek pool to make your Instagram followers green.

Villa Manzu, Costa Rica

Tucked away in the lush rainforest of the Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica, eight-suite estate Villa Manzu, hosted the whole Kardashian krew earlier this year.

The property makes the most of its picturesque surroundings, with many rooms (and bathrooms!) offering floor-to-ceiling windows for taking in the ocean views and watching monkeys swinging through the trees.

Villa Manzu doesn’t list pricing information on its website, so it’s fair to say it’s probably not in most people’s budget.

For a similar experience, the nearby Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo has infinity pools with views just like those at Villa Manzu, seriously stylish suites, and activities including kayaking, golf, and the best thing of all: doing absolutely nothing.

Iniala Beach Resort, Phuket

In 2014 the Kardashians travelled to Thailand where they stayed at Iniala Shores, a resort of exclusive villas on the beach in Phuket.

Each villa has its own distinct style, and access to the beach which is just steps away.

It’s one of those resorts so good you don’t want to leave, and while you’re there you don’t have to thanks to several on-site restaurants.

Iniala give back to the local community by donating a portion of their profit to local charities, and you can volunteer at an orphanage during your stay, as the Kardashians did. Villas start at USD $2,500 per night for a one-bedroom.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui

Way back in 2011, when Kim Kardashian was with Kris Humphries and Caitlyn Jenner was Bruce, the whole family headed to the Polynesian island of Bora Bora to stay in the overwater bungalows at Conrad Bora Bora Nui (back then it was a Hilton).

During the seven days Kris and Bruce renewed their wedding vows (how things have changed!) and Kim had a meltdown when she lost a diamond earring in the sea.

The Jenner/Kardashians stayed in the resort’s presidential suites, which feature two bedrooms and three bathrooms each and start at around US $4000 a night.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

For her first post-robbery work trip, Kim flew to Dubai in January to host a makeup masterclass with Mario Dedivanovic.

The event was held at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel, a luxury property with 405 guest rooms decorated like a a 19th-century Ottoman palace, which has ten restaurants and a Turkish hammam-style spa.

It’s also understood she stayed at least some of the night at Atlantis, The Palm, which you might recognise from Instagram.

Kim documented her Dubai activities on Instagram, revealing she drove through the desert dunes in a 4x4 ATV and even tried her hand at falconry, which looks just a little bit terrifying.
