Going on a holiday isn’t supposed to be stressful, but we can understand that sometimes things don’t all go to plan.
Whether a flight has been delayed, baggage lost in transit, or there’s a mix-up with your hotel booking, these are all things you can be forgiven for complaining about.
But some of these complaints are completely ridiculous.
In a blog post titled Tourist complaints that will leave you speechless, myoffers.co.uk has compiled some of the most unbelievable grievances in a fun info graphic.
And yes - these are all real complaints, from real tourists. Only the names have been changed.
“No-one told us there would be fish in the sea. The children are startled,” one concerned parent said.
You mean, an ocean, with fish? That’s un-heard of.
One poor traveller seemed to have only just discovered that mosquitos do in-fact bite, but no one had told him.
Then there was a person who was made to face his fear, which he was not happy about. “There was no sign telling you that you shouldn’t get a on hot air balloon ride if you’re afraid of heights,” he protested.
Others were not aware they would be entering a country with a completely different culture, and language.
“The street signs weren’t in English, I don’t understand how anyone can get around,” they questioned.
An Aussie story also featured with one person revealing there was a guest at a Novotel down under who complained that his soup was too thick and strong. Turns out he was spooning the gravy.
For us the winner though was a tourist, who ranted about booking a twin-bedded room and getting a double instead, and blaming the hotel for the fact they were now pregnant.
Yep, that actually happened.
