Anyone who's flown on a commercial flight knows the feeling of slowly turning into a human icy pole as the air conditioning gets chillier and chillier.
There's actually a very good reason for the frigid atmosphere – it turns out people are more likely to faint when they're up in the air, and having the temperature on low reduces the risk of this happening.
But that's cold comfort when you'd really like to have a sleep but you can't stop shivering and the end of your nose is turning blue.

Now, Qantas international cabin crew member Anastasia A has revealed the ultimate traveller's packing hack. Get ready.
"On board, one of my favourite hacks between service times is to have a small hot water bottle handy to keep warm," Anastasia told Be.
"When emptied, it doesn't take much space at all. If you get cold on a plane, then maybe think about buying one for those long flights and your flight attendant will always be happy to fill it up with some hot water.
