Why Coogee is the ultimate Sydney staycation

Getting away from it all is known as feeding the soul for a reason. But you don’t have to jet away to enjoy those fulfilling vibes.

Sydney is full of top notch beaches, making the city a great ‘staycation’ candidate.

But while there’s never a spare patch of sand at Bondi and Palm Beach is legit a mission to get to, there are a few lesser known spots that really rock our world.

Located just 20 minutes away from the airport and only a short drive or bus trip into the bustling CBD, this relaxed beachside spot is one of Sydney’s oldest suburbs - and definitely one of its most idyllic.
