If you’re in need of a little rejuvenation or looking for a relaxing beachside break, then you can’t go wrong at the QT Gold Coast.

Located in the heart of Surfer’s Paradise, conveniently set back a block from the beach, the QT hotel offers the most magnificent view of the Gold Coast’s impressive coastline and is the perfect destination for those in need of some much needed pampering.

The hotel's Spa Q is situated on the first floor. The plush pampering space offers a retro 60s-style feel, with funky pictures and hanging wicker baskets in the relaxation room overlooking the outside pool.

There’s a wide range of treatments on offer: from massages, facials, aloe wraps and skin hydrating cleanses. Treatments range from 30 to 60 minutes and prices start from $135 upwards.

For guests like me, who carry a lot of tension in their shoulders, a deep tissue massage using red pepper oil, which helps relax the muscle fibres, is recommended. As my therapist gets to work, within seconds, all stresses from life fade away in the tranquil room.

I was also treated to a 30 minute refreshing facial for sensitive skin and an enzyme exfoliation instead of a deep beaded exfoliator was used on my skin.

The Spa Q uses a range of organic products by Uskincare, which contain essential oils and free of animal testing.

There are also beauty rooms for waxing and eyebrow tinting, a steam room as well as a nail parlour.

The other thing that won me over? The proximity of the QT’s popular Stingray bar for a post spa cocktail!

If this isn’t heaven, I don’t know what is!

Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind or somewhere to indulge yourself, this delightful hotel with spa has all the makings for a perfect pampering getaway.
