Erin Holland's Top Picks Around Sydney

She’s one of the most travelled women in Australia, having covered most of the globe since taking out the title of Miss Australia in 2013, but model Erin Holland definitely calls Sydney home.

Yahoo7 Travel caught up with the globe-trotting beauty and got her advice on the best spots to check out in the harbour city.

Favourite beach?

It's a tie between Balmoral and Bronte. Balmoral is my local beach haven, but many friends live out in the eastern suburbs so I can't decide. Both are equally beautiful.

Best place for coffee?

Clo-Deli in Clovelly, which is right next to my frequented beauty salon The Parlour Room. They serve my fave Campos coffee.

Favourite restaurant?

I absolutely adore Japanese food so I'll have to say Sake in The Rocks. There's nothing better than fresh sushi and Sashimi, and they never disappoint.

Best pub?

Coogee Pavilion. This is our favourite venue for a Sunday session. I love how relaxed the vibe is there, whilst still having quality, nutritious food. And the view isn't bad either.

Best brunch spot?

Trio at Bondi. Their vegetarian breakfast – poached eggs, spinach, Persian feta, mushrooms and roasted tomato on carrot sourdough – is to die for.

Best shopping location?

Westfield Bondi has absolutely everything. And now I've finally figured out the carpark, it's definitely become the regular!

Best bar?

The Wolf wine bar on Blight Street in the city. I don't drink, but I hear the wine list is incredible. They do an amazing mocktail and their tapas is incredible. I'm fairly certain I've had absolutely everything on the menu – twice.

Best outdoor place to work out?

The Bondi to Coogee cliff walk. You're scarce to find anything more picturesque than that scenic walk, plus the myriad of stairs make sure you really feel like you've worked hard.

Favourite fine dining?

I recently went to Aria for the first time. They have incredible food and incomparable views of the Sydney Harbour – what’s not to love? The four-course degustation was out of this world.

Best restaurant with a view?

I will always be in love with Icebergs. Bondi is one of our most iconic Aussie beaches for a reason, and I think they have the best view in the city.

Most Instagram-worthy location?

Whenever I fly back to Sydney, I always ask for a window seat on the left hand side of the plane. There's a certain flight path into Sydney that provides absolutely amazing views of Harbour Bridge, Opera House and coastline. I always stop to take a snap. I truly believe we live in the most beautiful city in the world.
