The beachfront hotel offers silent disco yoga
Fresh sea breeze, the sweet waft of S’mores from the fire pit, sipping margies on a rooftop at sunset…
Welcome to Huntington Beach!
Just 40 minutes down the highway from LAX is Surf City USA. A total of 16 kilometres of beach serving up Baywatch vibes and laid back Cali realness!
We’re obsessed with the destination because it has all of the fancy offerings of L.A: delectable taco stands, rooftop bars, and luxe resort pool hangs served with a certain simplicity you only find in smaller coastal towns.
There’s no shortage of beach shack bnbs or oceanfront hotels to choose from when it comes to accommodation but one stands out. Paséa Hotel & Spa was built from the ground up in 2016 and although it is the size of a compound, it’s actually a chic boutique hotel with artsy finishings.
First of all, it’s pet-friendly (you had us at pets!) so there’s French bulldogs everywhere. Heaven!
The building is positioned around a simple and chic pool and spa that looks over the Pacific Ocean. Add cabanas and inflatable pink flamencos to the scenario and you’re in SoCal paradise.
Even the coffee shop/general store in the foyer is totally hipster, selling travel essentials, hand made chocolates, luxury towels and Voluspa candles.
Rooms are simple and chic, love the addition of FRESH bath products.
The room service will cost you but the servings are massive #MURICA
Paséa takes in-room dining to the next level with their IAM Menu – an in-room amenities guide that will offer any and everything you could possibly want or need, under the sun.
Ultimately, the services at Paséa tick all the boxes. There’s the surf butler for outdoor lovers, the on-site spa for the wellness enthusiasts, and live music at The Treehouse Bar for the arts and culture-lovers.
You could also make like a Cali bride and have your wedding here! Nuptials for 100 guests costs about $14,000.
Oh and just a warning about the $30 “resort fee.” If you’re not expecting it, it can throw you, but it covers a bottle of delicious Californian wine, bottled water, coffee and pluggers – yes your very own Hungtington Beach-branded flip-flops. Now that’s what I call attention to detail!
Rooms cost about US $380 per night in the summer but the resort often has deals going!
