Meghan Markle already has two diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal collection in her engagement ring.
And now the royal couple have also paid a touching tribute to the late mother of Prince Harry in their official engagement photos, which were released today.
The photos show the loved-up 36-year-old former Suits actress and 33-year-old Prince Harry gazing adoringly at each other at Frogmore House on the Windsor Castle property in Berkshire.
Meghan is seen showing off her incredible diamond engagement ring in a $100,000 sheer Ralph & Russo gown, made by Australian designers.
However, it’s the man they chose to shoot them for the momentous snaps that is pulling at people’s heartstrings.
The breathtaking photoshoot was captured by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, who is the protégé of world famous photographer Mario Testino.
Testino, who has taken photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s family in the past, was a very close friend of Princess Diana’s.
In fact, Testino was said to be the Princess’ favourite photographer and even took the last official portrait of her before she died in a car crash in 1997.

This is reportedly the first time Lubomirski has photographed members of the royal family.
“A huge thank you to His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Ms Markle, for allowing me to take their official engagement portraits,” Lubomirski wrote on Instagram, alongside the three stunning photos he took of the couple.
“Not only was it an incredible honour, but also an immense privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for each other.
“I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took.”
Lubomirski may have never photographed the royals before, but he has a pretty incredible celebrity client list and even has his own regal title.
His official title is actually His Serene Highness Prince Alexi Lubomirski. after discovering Polish royal heritage on his father’s side.
The photographer has shot Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Anniston for Harper’s Bazaar, amongst many others.
