Troye Sivan is 'super happy' for Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin

It’s the celeb engagement of the week that’s got Hollywood talking, and those closest to Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin couldn’t be more thrilled for the famous young couple.

One of those is Australian singer Troye Sivan, who says he’s very ‘happy’ for pal Hailey and her new fiance, Justin.

“I heard that news yesterday,” he told Be on Tuesday afternoon. “I’ve only met Hailey a couple of times but she’s a really, really lovely girl and I’m super happy for them.”

Troye, who is currently in Australia to promote his new album titled Bloom, recently spent time with Hailey at the MET Gala of all places.

The pair happily posed for photographs alongside Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande, the latter of whom is actually another good friend of Troye’s, and featured on his record.

“She’s such a legend,” Troye told Be of 25-year-old Ariana.

“I’m just obsessed with her. I just feel really really lucky.”

Ariana features in a track titled Dance To This which is in his new album, Bloom.

“I think she’s one of the best singers in the world obviously and to have her voice on one of my songs is just a real honour,” admitted Troye.

The 23-year-old Youtube sensation turned singing superstar is stoked to be home to promote his latest album, surrounded by his loved ones in the environment he grew up in.

“It feels so good. I’m literally always at my happiest when I’m here,” he said.

“Just to be able to see friends and family, [and have] the food that I’m used to, the coffee that I’m used to, it’s really really nice.”

As for his album, he hopes there’s a meaningful song in there for everyone as the lyrics come straight from his heart.

“It was pretty inspired by the love I was feeling in my life,” Troye revealed.

“I really was in a good place, like finally getting settled and feeling a lot more comfortable and just happier in general.

“It’s really kind of a tribute to all these different things in my life that all seem to come together at once that made me feel like I was in a really good place.”

Troye’s album Bloom will release in Australia on August 31.
