Trump’s bizarre dandruff gaffe goes viral

He’s got a habit of awkward handshakes and had Hillary Clinton practicing avoiding his over-the-top hugs – and now Donald Trump has added another too-close gesture to his repertoire.

In a clip that’s gone viral around the world, the POTUS was seen doing something to the French President Emmanuel Macron that most of us wouldn’t normally dare do to our colleagues.

With French president Emmanuel Macron in Washington to talk about the Iran Nuclear deal, Trump decided to help his fellow leader with a little grooming as they posed for photos in the Oval Office.

The 71-year-old was seen leaning over to brush dandruff of the French President’s suit.

“We have a very special relationship, in fact I’ll get that little piece of dandruff off,” Trump said.

“We have to make him perfect, he is perfect.”

Trump, who rocks a notoriously fluffy ‘do, is clearly no one to give hair advice, but the French President manages to smile politely and ignore the gaffe.

Needless to say, Twitter did not.
