The truth behind Sarah Hyland's red carpet look

It’s something us normal folk always wonder – how on earth do celebrities get their flawless looks on the red carpet.

Well, of course, they have a team of goodness knows how many people beautifying them, but Modern Family star Sarah Hyland got rather candid about some other secrets of what goes into the perfect red carpet look.

Posting a photo from a pre-Emmys event last week to her Instagram, the 27-year-old looked impeccable in a little black dress with her hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail and a bold red lip.

However, Sarah unashamedly had a little help from things you wouldn’t see with the naked eye.

“Here’s a secret,” she captioned the glam photos. “I was wearing two pairs of spanx and chicken cutlets in my bra.”

Many of her followers praised the actress for her candidness.

“LOVE the transparency of you and your life! Super refreshing!!!! You’re stunning,” one follower wrote.

We wholeheartedly agree.

Another joked that “chicken cutlets were the way to go”.

All we have to say is, you’re serving looks all day, everyday spanx or no spanx, Sarah.
