Victoria Beckham mum-shamed for letting daughter, 7, wear stilettos

Victoria Beckham had better look out — her little daughter Harper might be coming for the title of the Beckham family fashionista. Not without controversy, of course.

In an Instagram post by Posh Spice herself, the mother of four shared a sweet snap of her brood alongside Gordon Ramsay’s family to celebrate a birthday. Among all the hugs and smiles, followers seemed to notice one thing: 7-year-old Harper’s strappy nude stilettos.

Getting a piggyback ride on the right, the youngest Beckham looks adorable, per usual, sporting a little red dress and some pigtails. However, once you notice her choice in footwear, it’s not surprising that she needed to get off her feet.

“Is Harper wearing high heels?” followers began to innocently question before the issue turned into a debate about whether it was appropriate or not for her to be sporting the sky-high footwear.

“I noticed the mini stilettos. I think it’s adorable, a little fashionista in the making,” one commenter wrote, while another pointed out, “she’s probably just playing dress up!”

But some critics begged to differ.

“These heels are blatantly not dress up heels, nor are they her mothers,” someone wrote. “They’ve been purposely designed and made for a little girl’s feet.”

People jumped to the defense of both Victoria and Harper, reminiscing about the times they wore heels at that same young age — or at least wanted to.

One person seemed to settle the score by saying, “She’s the daughter of Posh Spice. I would be disappointed if she didn’t wear heels.”

Touché.
