Window woman speaks out about THAT Tinder date fail

A woman who went viral for the most embarrassing of reasons has reportedly spoken out about THAT horror Tinder date.

The anonymous lady made news around the world this week after her date, Liam Smyth, launched a crowdfunding appeal to replace his broken window.

If you missed the story, the window had broken because the woman had tried to throw a poo out into the garden but it got stuck. And then she proceeded to get stuck in the window as she tried to get it back.

But the mystery woman now seems to have spoken out for the first time, admitting her actions were a "panic response".

A Reddit user claiming to be the woman from the date, says she was "literally" on her knees "cringing and apologising" to Liam after the incident.

"Within seconds I knew I'd made a terrible mistake. I would have left, but i just couldn't do that to him," she wrote.

The pair had been out on a nice date before returing back to Liam’s house to have some wine and watch Netflix when disaster struck, when the woman went to the bathroom and according to Liam she “returned with a panicked look in her eye”.

She proceeded to tell him that she had “gone for a poo” in his toilet but it wouldn’t flush.

That’s when she decided to fish the poo out of the toilet and wrap it in tissue paper before throwing it out into what she thought was the garden.

But on his Gofundme page, Liam explains that his window is actually seperated from the outside world by another (non-opening) double glazed window.

That's when the woman had the genius idea of reaching into the windowpane to pull out her own poo. While she succeeded in removing it from the window, she didn’t bargain for getting stuck there, and having to eventually get rescued by the firies.

"It's not something I'm proud of, but people are laughing, and if I'm making people happy then I'm not going to complain," she continues on Reddit.

"I make bad choices sometimes (!) but I like to think I'm not a bad person, and to me that would have been bad [to leave]. I told him almost straight away - I couldn't lie about something like that."

She says despite her embarassment, Liam was very good about the whole situation.

"He was so good about it though, just laughed with me rather than at me," she wrote. "It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to say."
