Every fake tanner will know this woman’s struggle all too well.

You go for a spray tan, shuffle home in your oldest tracksuit bottoms and thongs and try not to sweat, touch any water or cross your arms and legs until you roll get into bed that night.

However, 17-year-old Texan Alex Vinklarek broke all of these rules when she decided to watch an emotional video of a dog reuniting with its owner online just after coming home from a spray tanning session.

What happened next is probably every fake tanner’s worst nightmare, as when Alex began to cry, the spray tan slowly began to trickle down her face, leaving some pretty hilarious looking streaks in its place.

Alex said she noticed straight away and opened up the camera on her phone so she could try to fix the situation.

“I saw that I had two streaks and I started bawling my eyes out, so that’s when it got really bad,” she told Metro.

“I kept trying to stop crying but every time I looked at myself I cried more because it looked so awful.”

What’s worse was that Alex actually had a cheerleading competition on that weekend and would be performing on stage.

Lucking for her, she went back to the salon the next day and they fixed the whole thing for her.

After the whole situation was diffused, Alex saw the funny side of it and posted the photos up on Twitter.

The snaps already have over 93,000 likes, with other people relating to her tricky scenario.
