Karl Stefanovic's 'ridiculous' birthday present for Georgie Gardner
It’s always nice when your colleagues wish you a happy birthday, but it’s not normally on live television.
But Karl Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys made sure to wish their Today co-host Georgie Gardner a big “happy birthday” on Friday’s show.
Much to Georgie’s surprise, Karl declared he had a present to give her.
“Karl, this’ll be a first,” the 48-year-old said.
Pulling the present out of his pocket, Karl revealed the surprise gift he had for his co-host.
Drum roll… it was none other than a tiny little Allen’s sweet. How generous.
“Oh, you shouldn’t have,” Georgie said sarcastically to Karl. “That is ridiculous.”
Don’t eat it all at once, Georgie.
