An eight-year-old has become an internet sensation for his determination to nab himself a hug from the President of the United states.
Front and centre at a bill signing last week, Jordan McLinn, who has a potentially deadly form of muscular dystrophy, watched on as Trump introduced legislation that will allow terminally ill patients to participate in experimental drug trials.
The boy from Indiana had been an advocate for the new law and was clearly excited as he got up out of his wheelchair and snuck up to the PLOTUS.
Trump remained oblivious at first, and Jordan waiting patiently has to try for a hug a few times before he finally got what he was after.
Footage of the adorable encounter has since gone viral, and even people that weren’t Trump supporters appreciated the moment.
“Jordan did go in for the hug, just to say thank you, and the president didn’t really realise it, so it took like three times, but Jordan didn’t give up on that hug,” his mum later told Inside Edition.
