The election of Donald Trump as the 45th president of the United States of America came as a shock to many, but it's pop singer Miley Cyrus who can't stop, won't stop crying.

“[At] Happy Hippies—we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are,” she told her fans in the video.

"And so, Donald Trump, I accept you. And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as a president of the United States, and that’s fine.”

Miley reiterated her support for Democratic nominee, saying she still thinks Hillary deserves to become the first female president of the US- unlike the majority of voters.

"And because I believe her when she says she loves this country, this is all she’s ever done, she’s given her life to make it better.

"But like Donald Trump so ironically played after his speech, You Can’t Always Get What You Want."

The former Hannah Montana actress wrapped up with a plea, saying: “Please just treat people with love, and treat people with compassion, and treat people with respect, and I will do the same for you.

"f you want to open your mind and your heart, I would love to give you a key.

"Thank you so much. Thank you Hillary for inspiring all of us. I also want to say thank you President Obama for all that you've done for this country.”
