Adorable moment Princess Charlotte copies the Queen's regal wave on the royal balcony
She made headlines all over the world when she gave waiting fans a regal wave outside the Lindo Wing back in April when Prince Louis was born.
And now Princess Charlotte has won the hearts of everyone again, after appearing to copy her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, on the balcony at Buckingham Palace over the weekend.
The adorable three-year-old was standing in front of her mother, Kate Middleton, when she could be seen glancing over at the Monarch.
The Queen was doing her usual thing, smiling and waving at the crowd gathered below the balcony.
And in a cute moment between the pair, Princess Charlotte can then be seen in the video above mimicking her great-grandmother’s actions, by turning to the crowd and giving them a little wave.
The Duchess of Cambridge was the first person on the balcony to notice the moment, with a huge grin forming on her face as she then turned to her husband, Prince William, to tell him about it.
Kate can then be seen turning back to look at Her Majesty, with the both of them laughing at what’s just happened.
The balcony appearance wasn’t all fun and games though, as Princess Charlotte had a slight stumble at one point and started to cry.
Her mum ended up swooping her up into her arms before the both of them watched the planes fly by.
This isn’t the first time the princess has been compared to the Queen. For the Queen’s 90th birthday celebration two years ago, she posed with all her great-grandchildren, with Princess Charlotte sitting pride of place on her lap.
There was no denying the similarities between the pair.
Just last week, people also drew comparisons between the Queen and her great-grandchild, after the three-year-old was spotted at a charity polo match wearing a pair of sunglasses, just like the Queen does on occasion.
