Watch a pro create three perfect Halloween make-up looks

Whether you want to go cute, fun or scary, you can use make-up to decorate your face.

We at the Be offices tested out three looks, Harley Quinn, the deer Snapchat filter and a terrifying slit throat - all with the help of make-up artist Ellen Gould.

To re-create Margot Robbie's Suicide Squad villain's freaky look, start off by mixing white cream foundation with a touch of your own foundation for an off-white base.

After you have set that with translucent powder, you will need a dark brow pencil, red and blue eye cream, black, grey and purple eyeshadow to complete the look. A liquid black eyeliner will take it to the next level.

If a cute costume is what you are after, use the deer Snapchat filter as your inspiration.

For this look, you will need some black face paint, orange or a dark tan foundation, tan eyeshadow and of course white face paint. As a finishing touch you can turn your hair into deer antlers if you wish by twirling two sections into buns at the top of your head.

For those who want to keep with the true, terrifying tradition of Halloween, add some gore with a slit throat.

This look require a bit more preparation with latex adding a third dimension.

In addition to the latex, use dark red face paint, single ply tissue, foundation and some congealed fake blood to create the wound (adding water to this will really make it ooze...). Use some grey and purple shadows to create a bruised look around it - you can be as creative as you want here.

For a complete battered experience, add some fake blood and bruising to the face as well.

You can get a lot of the supplies online here.

Happy Halloween creating everyone!
