Bride gets dropped by groomsmen

An embarrassed bride has revealed the moment she was dropped by her new husband and clumsy groomsmen on her wedding day in a series of hilarious snaps.

Mum-of-two Brooke Booth-Hunt, from Queanbeyan, NSW, had no idea just how memorable her wedding gallery would be after she decided to pose for photos to commemorate her special day.

After finally tying the knot with the love of her life Edward, the bride agreed to be held up by him and his groomsmen for a horizontal pose, but never imagined she would end up flat on the grass.

The photo sequence captures the moment a mortified Brooke is tipped to the floor and left lying on the ground while Edward and his groomsmen laugh.

The ceremony was held at a family friend’s house in Temora, in March 2013 – with the hilarious snaps being shared on social media for the first time last month.

“We were getting our photographs taken and our photographs suggested the boys hold me up for a photo,” Brooke said.

“They were even joking about pretending to drop me for a funny photo while they were holding me. I just laughed it off and we took some great pictures. It was a lot of fun.

“But then when we were finished it didn’t quite go to plan. The next thing I knew, I was on the ground.”

She added that, “As you can see in the photo, all the boys were full of concern for my wellbeing.

“We were all in hysterics. Fortunately I wasn’t hurt, but I couldn’t stop laughing.”
