Carrie Bickmore's daughter asks about her 'tiger stripes'

Kids really do say the darndest things sometimes.

Carrie Bickmore’s three-year-old daughter Evie recently fell into this category, asking her mum about the “stripes” on her forehead.

Posting a very close-up picture of herself, the 37-year-old shared the hilarious story on Instagram.

Little Evie asked Carrie, “Mummy what are those stripes on your head?” The Project host replied by telling her daughter they were wrinkles.

But Evie was confused as to why she didn’t have any “stripes” too.

“[Be]cause mummy is old,” Carrie told her, and being the absolute cutie she is, Evie said the sweetest thing to her mum.

“No mummy, you are not old, you are young and pretty like a stripey tiger,” she said.

Excuse us while our hearts just melt away.

However, Carrie joked it was just her clever-clogs daughter “sucking up”.

Regardless Carrie won’t be escaping these types of conversations anytime soon, as in a matter of months she’ll be giving birth to her third child.

She made the announcement in June via Instagram where she recorded a sweet video with her family.

In the clip, her 11-year-old son Oliver – whom she had with her late husband Greg Lange – is seen telling younger sister Evie that the family unit is expanding.
