Channel Nine bosses have leapt to the defence of their newest recruit Sophie Monk, after reports emerged she was being a "diva" as she prepares to host their new reality series, Love Island Australia.
The TV station have refuted claims Sophie, 37, is being unreasonable with her "demands," saying they are "very excited" to have her on board.
"We are very excited to have Sophie back at Nine,' a Channel Nine representative told the Daily Mail. "We have a wonderful relationship with her, and can't wait to start production on Love Island Australia."
It had been reported in Woman's Day that Sophie, who recently found love on The Bachelorette with pub millionaire Stu Laundy, had reeled off an excessive list of requests including flights to Spain for her new man and a "glam squad."

Be has reached out to Sophie for a comment, as she's yet to talk about the claims.
She has previously spoken about her excitement for her new gig.
"I'm going to be hosting Love Island," she said when the news was first revealed. "It's so exciting."
The dating show has a different format to the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, as it has a racier format that allows contestants to swap partners.
To win, a couple has to convince viewers they are genuinely in love.
