What winning The Block means for Elyse Knowles’ modelling career
She pocketed a whopping $547,000 after winning The Block with boyfriend Josh Barker last week, and Elyse Knowles is ready to rake in more dollars as she expects her modelling career to hit another level after the reality TV victory.
Speaking to Be at the 2017 Derby Day at Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, the 25-year-old blonde admitted appearing on the Channel Nine renovation series has helped her profile as a model.

"Yeah it definitely has," she said. "It's opened me up to a different market and it’s really nice to be able to relate to families and young girls and show them you can be who you are you and you don’t have to change for anyone".
Her latest campaign for Bras N Things has already shown another side to the stunner, as she's stripped down to lingerie for the camera.
"It was nerve-wracking," she confessed. "It was stepping outside the box but you work hard for it, so you do whatever you have to do."
With her can-do girl-next-door attitude, Elyse managed to defeat all the other The Block teams with her determined boyfriend Josh.
Their renovated property went on to be bought by radio personality Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes for $3.067 million, with the pair then getting $547,000.
"It’s pretty crazy at the moment," Elyse admitted to Be about life after winningThe Block.
"It doesn’t feel real but we’re living the dream right now and appreciative of everything that’s come our way."
Despite the new modelling opportunities that will now come her way, Elyse doesn't want to give up her newfound passion for renovating.
"We’re selling our house in Melbourne at the moment and we’re looking to buy another one and do it all over again," she said.
