There's nothing more embarrassing than falling over in the middle of a performance for thousands of your screaming fans.

Just ask Selena Gomez.

The 23-year-old is the latest victim of that old 'stacking mid song' conundrum that has plagued so many of her songbird peers.

Selena was performing the Tulsa, Oklahoma leg of her Revival World Tour when she tumbled down some stairs mid-performance of Kill 'Em With Kindness.

While it looked quite nasty, the singer was able to laugh off the embarrassing mishap with her fans.

"First fall on the whole damn tour, can you believe it in Tulsa? Well, I'll be damned," she giggled.

Selena's isn't the worst on-stage tumble we've seen in recent times - just days over, her former beau Justin Bieber horrifyingly disappeared through a trap door while performing his hit Sorry.
