Jim Carrey's late girlfriend's tragic suicide note revealed

The tragic contents of Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend's suicide note have been revealed just months after her passing.

Cathriona White died committed suicide last September, shortly after Carrey ended their relationship.

"I've spent 3 days now in disbelief that you're not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don't have the will this time," she penned in the note.

"I'm sorry you felt I wasn't there for you. I tried to give you my best part."

According to TMZ, White took some of Carrey's own medication.

"Police found a text on her phone from Jim, asking where his painkillers for his back went, noting they were missing from under the sink," they claim.

The note also included details about how she left Jim to organise the funeral: "I don't really know about burial or that sort of thing. You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine."

After her death, Carrey tweeted a poignant tribute about his late girlfriend.

He also released a statement following the tragic news which read: "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled.

"My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
