Roxy let Pixie feel her ‘lump’ in the shower

Roxy Jacenko, 36, found a lump in her breast while showering at her Bondi home two weeks ago.

The PR guru revealed she was battling with breast cancer on Tuesday, just three weeks after her husband was jailed for insider trading.

Roxy has now revealed that she got her four-year-old daughter, Pixie to double check the lump in her breast and told of her reaction.

After discovering the lump, Roxie got Pixie to feel it because she was slightly confused by it. Once Pixie had touched it she said, “eeugggh mum!” Roxy told Daily Mail Australia.

The mother-of-two then called her own mum who was slightly concerned. Roxy admitted that, at the time, she didn’t think she was letting her daughter feel cancer.

“You just don’t think that at 36,” she told the publication.

After getting a biopsy Roxy has spoken about her battle publicly and has firmly stated that she will not let it interfere with business.

When she was first diagnosed the publicist told News Corp that, “the timing is extraordinary,” as it came just weeks after her husband was jailed.

“What I have experienced in the past three weeks is the most shocking thing I have ever experienced. I don’t think there is anything that could shock me more now,” she told the publication.

Roxy posted a sweet snap with her daughter in the early hours of the morning today. The image is of Roxy and Pixie holding hands.

The image is captioned with, “She snores but she is so kind and thoughtful. I am happy to just put my pillow over my head and deal with it. Hand in Hand.”
