Bachelor contestants ‘turn against’ co-star Keira Maguire

Bachelor contestant Keira Maguire has an advantage in the Bachie mansion…and her fellow ladies are not happy about it.

The 29-year-old, who is vying for the reality TV love of Bachelor Richie Strahan, is not only friends with a former contestant of the series, but she also knows Richie’s cousin.

“I shouldn’t have said anything,” she told TV Week. “They were looking at me as a threat. I did mention to the girls that I knew Lisa [Clarke, Richie’s cousin] and they turned against me.”

Keira, who sports a Lara Worthington-esque bob, explained that she’s also a friend of Lisa Hyde, from season two of the Network Ten series. In fact, Lisa was the one who told her to apply in the first place.

“I asked her if she recommended I do it,” she said. “She said it was one of the best experiences she’s ever had.”

Look, we’d be threatened by Keira too, but not for the reasons she’s laying down in this interview.

During a promo clip for season four, Keira proclaims that she’s “definitely a good catch” as she arrives at the mansion.

Yep, she’s definitely got confidence on her side.
