Jinger Duggar is engaged to a famous sportsman

Jinger Duggar, is the sixth child and fourth daughter among the 19 kids in her family.

Now the 22-year-old will be the next in the Duggar clan to get married.

The Duggar’s announced the exciting news on their website – Jinger is engaged to former pro soccer player Jeremy Vuolo, 29.

Jinger also posted a photo to Instagram announcing her engagement.

She captioned the image with, “So excited about the next chapter in our life together #engagaed.”

The couple met through Jinger’s older sister Jessa and her husband Ben Seawald.

Jeremy wrote on his own website about how he and Jinger went on a mission trip to South America together.

Jeremy asked for Jinger’s father’s blessing to court her in December last year.

After courting for about six months the couple got engaged and are excited for the next step in their relationship.

Jeremy used to play soccer for the New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer team and later for the San Antonio Scorpions North American Soccer League team.

He retired as a professional soccer player in 2014 to pursue ministry work.

TLC are airing a new Duggar series called Counting On, which will focus on the older Duggar children. This new relationship will likely feature on the reality series.

TLC cancelled the previous reality show 19 Kids and Counting in 2015 after the eldest brother, Josh Duggar was involved in sexual abuse allegations.
