"I feel very lucky": Kyly Clarke is loving family life

Family life couldn’t be sweeter for Kyly Clarke.

With husband, former Australian Test cricketer Michael Clarke retired from the international game, and the couple welcoming their daughter Kelsey-Lee in November last year, the family are together under one roof.

And adjusting to life as a trio hasn’t been hard for the Clarke’s either, with Kyly telling Be she’s more than happy to haver her husband home.

“I have to say the family lifestyle feels more like a family when you do have your husband coming home after work and you’re making dinner,” Kyly said at the David Jones Spring Summer 2016 collection launch.

“Kelsey-Lee is having her bottle, we’re eating on the couch watching the news and you’re having that general conversation and it’s not on FaceTime and it’s not with a timezone difference that you have to deal with.

“It’s really beautiful and the weekends are more enjoyable as well. I feel very lucky to have him at home more often.”

The Lyfestyled founder also said that its been an easy transition for Michael too, with the former Australian captain adjusting easily to life at home with his girls.

"He’s loving it, he watches a whole heap of sports on the weekend and we’ll take Kelsey-Lee for walks,” Kyly said.

“He’s been working really hard on his fitness as well, so he’s had time to jungle that and he’s working really hard on his other business side of things.”
