Johnny Depp lines up witnesses as Amber Heard 'refuses to go under oath'

Amber Heard reportedly refused to go under oath for her deposition on Saturday, instead “crying, yelling and screaming in defiance”, according to Johnny’s lawyers.

TMZ reports that Amber showed up at court around 11:50AM Saturday for the 10AM deposition. The 30-year-old was there until around 9PM but never even walked into the deposition room.

According to new legal docs filed by Johnny's lawyer, Laura Wasser, Amber repeatedly refused to submit to questioning.

The actress allegedly refused to enter several times. Instead, according to Johnny's lawyer, she was crying in the adjoining office.

Johnny’s team now want an order prohibiting Amber from testifying when the case goes to trial next week or an outright dismissal of the domestic violence case.

Johnny reportedly has almost two dozen witnesses who will support his defence against the domestic violence allegations from his estranged wife.

The Mortdecai actor is said to have been prepared for the trial where the actress - who has accused him of leaving her bruised when he threw an iPhone at her face following a row in May - is seeking to have a permanent restraining order against him.

Johnny, 53, is now said to have a number of people ready to testify that the Magic Mike star's claims are false.

According to TMZ, the two police officers who responded to a 911 call following the alleged altercation will testify that they saw no evidence of injury to the actress, or anything broken in their home.

And five concierges from their apartment building, who all saw Amber between May 21 - the night the alleged attack happened - and May 27 and have all stated in depositions they saw no injuries to the actress' face.

Two security guards who were in the unit on May 21 will go on record to testify Johnny did not hit his spouse, while the former couple's housekeeper Hilda Vargas will also give a mystery testimony.

The witness list states: "Ms. Vargas will testify about a discovery in the home."

In addition, Amber's publicist, Jodi Gottleib is also on the list, with the actor's lawyer, Laura Wasser, previously trying to take her deposition but she was unavailable. The press officer's testimony is said to be important because she was believed to be present during discussions between the actress and her legal representative.

A number of exhibits were listed to be entered for consideration, including a report for Amber's own 2009 arrest on domestic violence claims, and documents from her Australian dog smuggling case, in which Johnny's lawyers will also accuse the actress of lying when she said she didn't know it was illegal to bring the dogs into the country.

There is also a mysterious photo, details of which are not being made available until the last minute.

The documents state: "For privacy reasons, this exhibit is being served on petitioners [Amber and team] and will be supplied to the court at the time of hearing."
