Marion Cotillard confirms pregnancy, blasts Brad Pitt affair rumours

Marion Cotillard, the actress in the middle of the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie marriage breakdown, has confirmed she is pregnant with her second child and blasted the Brad Pitt affair rumours.

"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need," Marion said in a statement.

Marion and husband Guillaume Canet are parents to five-year-old son Marcel.

"Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery."

"Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion," the French star concluded.

Since news broke that Angelina filed from divorce from Brad, Marion has been at the centre of rumours that she and the 52-year-old actor had an affair while filming their new movie Allied.

Scandalous claims made by the New York Post's Page Six claim Ange filed for divorce after hiring a private detective, "because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set."

According to the source, "It turns out, he was. And that was the final straw."

“He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up," the insider added.

Brad and Angelina were together for 12 years and married in 2014. They have six children together.
