Chris Hemsworth says Western Bulldogs winning AFL Grand Final was 'best day ever'

Chris Hemsworth has claimed that the Western Bulldogs winning the AFL Grand Final yesterday was the 'best day ever'.

The 33-year-old actor attended the match with his father and his brother Liam, before taking to Instagram when the game was over and gushing over his beloved Bulldogs.

The Thor acted looked ecstatic in the picture, wedged in between Liam and his father Craig.

Chris can be seen planting a huge kiss on his father's head alongside the caption: "With my dad watching the @westernbulldogs win the first @afl grand final since 1954, the year he was born!!! best day ever !!! (Also meeting my wife was the other best day)"

The Hemsworth brothers were later pictured in the Western Bulldogs dressing room, posing with players and fans after the match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The Western Bulldogs secured a 22-point victory against the Sydney Swans yesterday in front of 99,981 fans at the MCG.

The 33-year-old Thor actor showed his support for the worthy cause and painted one of his nails to raise awareness about child abuse.

Chris' post comes just days after he pledged his support for the Polished Man campaign, which is being rolled out throughout October.

Hemsworth then posted a picture of his nail to Instagram, alongside the caption: "I just signed up to the @YGAP @polishedman campaign! One in five children fall victim to physical and/or sexual violence, before they turn 18.
