Jonathan Cheban: ‘Kim’s not doing good’ after robbery

Understandably, Kim Kardashian is shaken up following the robbery earlier this week….

Kim Kardashian’s BFF Jonathan Cheban has revealed the reality star is ‘really rattled’ after being bound, gagged and having a gun held to her head at her apartment in Paris earlier this week.

“She’s not doing so good,” he said while going to visit her at her New York apartment.

Jonathan, who regularly appears on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, could be seen carrying a large gift basket for the star.

“Kim is still in shock,” a source told ET Online earlier this week.

“When the incident happened, [Kim] was half asleep and was woken up so abruptly.

“She was on little sleep to begin with since getting to Paris. She still hasn’t fully been able to comprehend what happened.”

It’s been claimed Kim was unable to see “any of the guys' faces” because they were in black ski masks and gloves.

“She heard really loud footsteps in the apartment coming up to the second floor, where she was sleeping. She picked up her cell but wasn't able to call [bodyguard] Pascal [Duvier] in time before one of the guys grabbed it out of her hand and she realised what was happening. It was absolutely horrific,” the insider continues.

“None of them spoke English, so she couldn't communicate with them. All she kept saying over and over is 'I have kids. Take anything you want. Please don't kill me. Please don't kill me.’

“She’s very emotional.”

But TMZ is reporting that Kim is hopeful the $11m worth of jewellery that was stolen from her will be returned.

“She believes if anyone tries to sell the ring they'll find it. The police report she filed includes the diamond's inscription number and other markers that will raise red flags if it ends up on the market," adds a source.

“The Gemological Institute of America says inscribed diamonds have a microscopic number laser-inscripted on the girdle of the stone.

“Once a police report is filed, any lost diamonds would be flagged in the system, and if they pop up for a cleaning, grading or possible sale ... police are called. Even if the inscription is scratched off, rings like Kim's can be identified by special internal characteristics of the diamond.

"It's not foolproof, of course. Big diamonds can be crushed into several pieces so they're less traceable - and if crooks avoid legit jewellers, there's less chance anyone reports a run-in with the stolen rock."
