Kim Kardashian blames herself for Paris robbery

She's been through so much this week, and it sounds like she's still coming to terms with the horrifying ordeal.

Kim Kardashian is blaming herself after being bound and gagged during an armed robbery in Paris earlier this week.

“Kim’s in shock and blaming herself. She’s tearing herself up that she Snapchatted the ring so much and wore it all the time. This incident is making her question everything. How she dresses, what she does,” a source close to the Kardashian family tells PEOPLE.

This comes after fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld accused the reality star of flaunting her wealth.

"(She is) too public, too public — we have to see in what time we live. You cannot display your wealth then be surprised that some people want to share it," he told the Associated Press.

"I don't understand why (Kim) was in a hotel with no security and things like this. If you are that famous and you put all your jewellery on the net you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room."

Justin Timberlake also blamed Kim for being too flashy.

The Cry Me A River singer - who was performing at London's Indigo O2 venue this week - took to the stage and took a lighthearted dig at the brunette beauty when a fan asked if he could Snapchat from their phone during the set.

"I can't use Snapchat because I'm an adult," he teased, according to The Sun.

"You know Kim Kardashian gets paid like £10 million to do this? Too soon? I'm sorry..."

On Monday, five masked men wearing police jackets forced the concierge at the l'Hotel de Pourtalès, known as 'No Address France', to show them to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s room, where she was alone.

The 35-year-old's hands and feet were bound with tape before she was locked in the bathroom while they stole $11m worth of jewellery, police sources told La Parisien.

A $4m ring from her husband Kanye West was taken in the robbery but Kim, 35, doesn't want it replaced.

“Kanye wants to buy her the ring again but she just says she doesn’t want to think about it," adds the source.

"He says he wants everything to go back to normal and for the incident to not affect their lives."

According to TMZ, the reality star was lying in bed at her hotel, when she heard people running up the stairs.

"She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," a spokesperson for the star said.
