Kim's 'diamond cross found' as she beefs up security

A diamond cross belonging to Kim Kardashian West has reportedly been found as the reality star "beefs up" security following her terrifying Paris robbery ordeal.

TMZ has reported French police found the diamond crucifix, worth an amazing US$33,180 (AU$43,716) and designed by famed jeweller Jacob and Co, a day after the attack on Kim.

A passer-by reportedly found the necklace on the pavement near the apartment Kim was staying at when the robbery occurred.

The website added the pendant could provide vital DNA evidence that could potentially help crack the case.

Meanwhile TMZ are also reporting that the 35-year-old has upgraded her security team to "Presidential levels" with ex-Israeli army members, ex-CIA agents and former Secret Service agents.

According to the gossip site's report, her new detail will be armed and two guards will be with the mum-of-two at all times. Her car will also be “armoured.”

She's not taking any risks!

It’s unclear how Kim's current bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, who was out with her sisters Kourtney and Kendall at the time of the attack, will fit into the new line-up.

“Kim’s nestled under her children and hasn’t let North or Saint out of her sight since being reconnected with them,” an insider said recently told Hollywoodlife.com.

“She’s literally become mamma bear, and is just extremely over-protective of them.”

“She’s talking to Kanye and is seriously considering firing all the nannies. Not because they’re not doing their jobs, but because she has trust issues now and the last thing she wants is someone f***ing with her children.”

Kim has only been seen twice in public since the terrifying robbery, once on her return to New York City and over the weekend as she, husband Kanye West and their two children North and Saint left their luxury rental apartment to return to LA.
