Brange's ex-bodyguard lifts lid on life with the family

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's former bodyguard has revealed what it was like to work for the famous family.

Mark Billingham worked for the Jolie-Pitt's for 18 months and reckons he became so close with the couple's six children that he was their "unofficial father" according to The Sun.

The former solider is appearing on the UK's Channel 4 SAS: Who Dares Wins and told the network how close he became with the children after working with them.

“I was Brad and Angelina’s head of security. The military set me up perfectly for what I did with them. The biggest concern for them was the kidnapping of the kids, it’s all about money," he said.

Mark was also one of the few staff members that the former couple, who ended their 12 year relationship last month, could trust with their kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

“Angie and Brad are very worried about who goes near their children. It was clear from the start we had a great chemistry and they trusted me with the kids. We got very close, I was living with them all the time."

“I could take the kids anywhere I wanted to on my own. No one else was allowed to do that. Even when I wanted to bring in extra people, they wouldn’t let any of those near the kids. They could look out for them from a distance but they couldn’t physically touch them. I took them swimming. I fathered them, basically.”

He also recalled his time working Brad and Ange as "challenging, but interesting" but eventually decided to quit working for them because he found the job as keeping him away from his family, including his own six children.

“I never had a private life. I was exhausted. I lost direction in my own family life,” he added.
