Chris Hemsworth shuts down split reports with super-cute snap

After reading rumours about his ‘rocky’ marriage with Elsa Pataky in the media, Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to assure his fans the pair are stronger than ever.

According Woman’s Day, the 33-year-old star and his 40-year-old wife had “been taking a little break from each other," but Chris’ latest post proves the couple only have eyes for each other.

The Thor star shut down the shaky marriage goss with a hilarious snap of them sitting next to one another on a boat, with captain Chris looking out to sea as if to be searching for a new wife!

“Looking for a new wife according to @womansdayaus and other misleading outlets! Honey you still love me right?! @elsapatakyconfidential #thanksfortheheadsup,” the hunky surfer dude captioned the image.

Fans thought his reaction to the split rumour was priceless and that they’re glad to hear the duo are still very much in love.

“Don't get rid of her she's so classy! Gossip,” one user commented.

“I love that you two are so in love!” another said.

“I'll be your wife!” another user joked.

According to the magazine, a source said the pair’s marriage was on the verge of collapse and that they had been living separate lives.

"They've decided they need space," the source said.

It was claimed that Elsa jetted off to her home in Spain with kids India, four, and two-year-old twins Tristan and Sasha, the same time Chris had secured filming for Thor: Ragnarok in the Gold Coast near their Byron Bay home.

"So you might think Elsa would want to be there to spend every moment with him, not go away without him," the source said.

The mag also pointed the finger at the increasing number of boys nights out Chris had been having, with Elsa nowhere to be seen.

If that wasn’t enough, the mag then went on to assume Chris is now regretting getting married to Elsa so quickly in 2010 after only a few months of dating.

"There was no great plan to any of it, to be honest," he's previously said. "We were on holiday and we said 'why don't we get married too?' And then the next minute..."

Despite the many rumours, all Chris had to do was post one photo of him and his loving wife to social media to prove him and Elsa are together 100%.
