How Jess got her hot body for Ruby Rose

She got hot and heavy with girlfriend Ruby Rose in the new video for On You Side and now The Veronicas' Jessica Origliasso has shown how she managed to get her bod ready for the shoot.

Sharing a flashback video from her time shooting the music video, the 31-year-old does sit ups for the camera, clearly wanting to impress Ruby, who has one toned tum herself!

"I'm filming next to Ruby Rose today so I have to do my sit ups before going to set," Jess says in between each move.

As Jess continues to exercise a voice from behind the camera, presumably twin sister and band mate Lisa, is heard jokingly counting to 103 during Jess' effort.

On Friday morning, The Veronicas released the clip for On Your Side, which was written and directed by Ruby.

From slipping in between the sheets to sharing a bath together, Ruby and Jess, who recently rekindled their romance, prove why this clip is just a little too hot to handle.

The video opens with the actress and her single girlfriend walking towards each other, sharing a cuddle before things take a steamier turn.

Stripping down to their back lingerie, the pair share a passionate kiss in a bedroom scene, before splashing about in a pool and passionately locking lips yet again.

This video was responsible for reigniting the flame between the exes, and shows the pair getting up close and personal, looking at a "love that cannot be broken" despite one of the girls' characters battling a drug addiction.

No doubt stoked to be working with her girl on the project, Jess said in a statement: "Ruby Rose is known for creating powerful and intensely affecting work and being given the opportunity to collaborate with her artistic force has been an incredible experience, both personally and professionally".

Jess let slip recently that she fell back in love with her ex while filming the clip in New Zealand. And after watching the footage we can see why.
