Erin wants to pull a Taylor Swift

Since winning Miss Australia in 2013, Erin Holland has successfully transitioned from modelling to singing.

And the 27-year-old blonde beauty is ready to combine the two on a global scale, revealing she’d like to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, just like Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Selena Gomez have done in the past.

Speaking to Be ahead of this year’s runway extravaganza, the Australian model reveals she initially desired to don the angelic wings, but is now keen to just score a future singing gig at the lingerie label’s annual star-studded show.

“I think every girl at some point has dreamed about wearing those iconic wings!” she says.

“Catwalk was always my favourite discipline of modelling but these days I more aspire to perform during the show. How great would it be to sing during one of those catwalks?

“Rihanna's 2012 performance is probably my all time favourite performance to date,” she adds, and agrees her potential performance could be reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s at the 2013 and 2014 shows.

As for her favourite Victoria’s Secret model, there’s one clear frontunner in Erin’s eyes, Candice Swanepoel.

“That woman is just next level,” she gushes.

“[It’s] a little sad she won't be walking this year, but I'm glad she's taking time off to spend it with her new baby.”

Erin will be watching the runway show with a group of gal pals, and is looking forward to indulging in some cheeky treats while she’s at it.

“It's been a tradition for my Sydney Uni College friends and I to watch the Victoria’s Secret show every year at one of our houses.

“It's always an epically fun and entertaining night in with non-VS appropriate foods such as pizza and cheese,” she laughs.

The stunner will also be keeping an eye out for her friend Georgia Fowler, who will be strutting the catwalk alongside the likes of fellow Aussies, Bridget Malcolm and Kelly Gale.

“I’m very excited for her and happy to see another Aussie face gracing the Victoria’s Secret stage,” says Erin.

And as for Erin herself, the Victoria’s Secret-inspired training regime kicks off now, just in case she gets that special phone call for next year’s show.

“I've stepped it up coming into Summer,” she reveals, explaining she works out five to six times a week.

Her regime includes two personal training sessions, yoga, spin and strength classes.

“I’ve never felt fitter and actually loving it!”
