Paul reunites with Noelene

It’s family first for Paul Hogan who has reportedly reunited with his ex-wife Noelene in the wake of one of their sons suffering a stroke.

Paul’s first wife of 28 years was left humiliated in 1981 when the iconic Australian actor left her for his Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski.

Despite their tumultuous years, Paul and Noelene have reconciled their differences and have come together to support their sick son.

“They are a very close-knit clan” a source tells New Idea.

“Paul and Noelene are a united front and he’ll do anything to help.”

Paul is reportedly offering his ill son complete financial, emotional and parenting support. While 76-year-old Noelene has reportedly moved in with her son to provide him with the physical support he needs to get by day-to-day.

The former couple rekindling comes just as the highly anticipated TV mini-series, Hoges: The Story of Paul Hogan prepares to air on Channel Seven.

The spotlight will no doubt shine on Paul’s relationship with Noelene and he and Linda’s scandalous affair, but luckily Paul and his family are “very close” the source says.

“Talking about Hoges is very off-limits for all of them. It’s believed he looks after all of them financially, so there’s no way they would ever upset him.”

After the publicised break-up, Noelene found short-lived love with second husband Reg Stretton but called it quits in 2000 after he allegedly drank everyday throughout their honeymoon, leaving Noelene “intensely hurt and embarrassed” the magazine reports.

A close friend of the pair says Noelene “has never got over losing him [Paul]” and will never really recover because Hoges was her one true love.

The blonde beauty has since been consuming her life with her Paul’s five kids Brett, Clay, Todd, Loren and Scott and her 10 beautiful grandchildren.

“The entire extended family hasn’t been in the one room for a long time, but Paul stays in contact. Especially when it comes to their sick son,” the source says.
