Mila surprises her parents with home makeover

Mila Kunis has done the sweetest thing ever, surprising her parents Mark and Elvira Kunis with a home makeover.

The 33-year-old appeared on the third episode of online series My Houzz a makeover show which is produced by her husband Ashton Kutcher.

Her family left the Ukraine in 1991 when she was seven with nothing but $250, and the mother-of-two explained how this was her way of giving back.

She was asked why she wanted to take on the renovation and said she hoped that it would be something special her family would enjoy.

On the show, Mila explained: "their house kinda looks like Miami Vice circa 1994...I grew up in a very small town in Ukraine, and when I was nine my family moved into the condo that my parents still live in."

Before it got a fresh new look, the property had "weird-shaped walls" and small closed-off rooms. But designer Breeze Giannasio was able to knock down the walls (even letting Mila take the first swing!) opening up the condo and giving it a contemporary open-plan feel.

The Ukrainian-born actress said, "Knowing how hard I work now for what I have puts things in perspective for how much harder my parents had to have worked to have given my brother and I the life that we had. I desperately want to give them something that I think they deserve."

The Bad Moms star gushed, "seeing my parents’ reaction to their condo for the first time made everything worth it." Aww!
