Katy 'ready to let go' of Taylor feud

It’s the feud that has gone of for nearly as long as WWII, and apparently Katy Perry is as sick of it as we are!

Currently livestreaming everything she’s doing on YouTube as part of her Witness World Wide publicity stunt, yesterday Katy sat down with Arianna Huffington for an interview.

During the conversation, she addressed her fight with Taylor Swift, which she’s been pretty chatty about lately in the lead-up to her album release. Coincidence? We think not!

When Arianna asked Katy is she was ready to “let it go”, the 32-year-old singer didn’t hold back.

“Absolutely, 100 percent. I forgive her, and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her...I think it's time,” Katy said.

"There are bigger fish to fry, and there are bigger problems in the world. I love her and I want the best for her, and I think she's a fantastic songwriter,” she continued.

“I think that if we both, her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go, like, 'Yeah, we can do this.'”

The star couldn’t resist throwing the teensiest bit of shade at her 27-year-old rival’s way though!

"Maybe I don't agree with everything she does, and maybe she doesn't agree with everything I do,” she added. “I really, truly, want to come together, and in a place of love and forgiveness, and understanding and compassion…I want to be an example of kindness, compassion, love, and I forgive and forget.”

No word yet on whether Taylor feels the same way...but judging from the savage move she made last week, making all her music available on Spotify the same day as Katy's album release, she's still got a bone to pick!

"That wasn't easy for me," Katy tells Arianna after her vent. "I think everybody knows that wasn't easy for me. But it's fine. I want to let it go.”
