Corinne Olympios ends Bachelor in Paradise investigation

Corinne Olympios has ended her own investigation into the Bachelor in Paradise scandal, saying she is satisfied with the outcome.

Despite Warner Bros. ending their internal probe into the matter, the 24-year-old reality star clarified that looking into the incident was to "understand" what happened during an alleged hook-up between herself and co-star DeMario Jackson.

"In light of the overwhelming amount of misinformation that has been spread in the media, I want to clarify a few things. My intent over the past few weeks has been to learn and understand what happened on June 4," a statement from Corinne read.

"While I never filed complaints or accusations against anyone associated with Bachelor in Paradise, my team and I felt it was very important to be thorough in getting to the bottom of what had occurred. I felt victimized by the fact that others were judging me through conflicting and unsubstantiated reports, while I myself had no recollection of the events that transpired.

"My team’s investigation into this matter has now been completed to my satisfaction. I am also happy about the changes that have been made to the production of Bachelor In Paradise."

Corinne confirmed her team's investigation was complete and that she would not be returning to the fourth season of the Bachelor spin-off.

"While I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have been a participant on TheBachelor, and while I was invited to return to Bachelor In Paradise when production resumed, I respectfully made the decision not to return. I understand the media’s interest in this story, and I greatly appreciate my fans’ concerns for my well-being, but I think it is best if I keep any further thoughts private for now," the statement concluded.

Earlier this month production of the reality show was shut down "indefinitely" as Warner Bros. investigated "allegations of sexual misconduct", after Corinne claimed she was too drunk to consent to a swimming pool hook-up with DeMario that reportedly occurred during the first day of filming.

Last week the production company confirmed filming had resumed and there was no evidence misconduct had occurred, clearly DeMario of any allegations.

Meanwhile Bachelorette reject DeMario has continued to spill the beans over the incident and give his version of events.

In an interview with E! News, the 30-year-old reality star said the pair became "homies" and first bonded over their status of being the "villians" on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

"Our first real conversation was at the bar. We were hanging out. We kind of were just complimenting each other on being villains," DeMario told the network.

"I was like, 'Look, I've accepted this role.' We were kind of just laughing, like, 'Oh, we're about to dominate Paradise!' Like homie stuff, like really, really like friends. And then, you know, we started having a little bit more fun...and had a few drinks."

DeMario continued, saying as the pair continued drinking and took a couple of shots things started to get raunchy as they made their way to the hot tub.

"From the bar scene, it got a little hot and heavy. She got in my arms, and we started making out at the bar," he added, saying Corienne then "wrapped her legs" around him.

"I was like, 'Hell yeah!' You know, I'm down for it. I'm not gonna...I don't think any single man - some married ones - wouldn't turn down Corinne. She's a beautiful woman!"

Going into further detail, DeMario added there was nothing "too sexual" to start with, but as things heated up Corienne "advanced" towards him naked and allegedly suggested she wanted oral sex.
