Justin Bieber slammed by rock royalty

Justin Bieber left fans heartbroken after it was announced last month that the remainder of his Purpose World Tour was cancelled.

Now a fellow musician has taken a swipe at the popstar after he released a lengthy statement saying he needed a break in order to be a "sustainable: artist.

KISS legend Gene Simmons gave TMZ his views on the un-Beliebable decision to cancel the last 14 dates of his tour.

“Get a life. You don’t have to worry about anything. You’re rich," he told the publication. "In case you didn’t notice, you’re white. You’ve got white privilege ... You have nothing to complain about”.

The 67-year-old is well placed to give the much younger singer his advice, after having had huge touring success with rock band KISS in the 70s.

Along with bandmates Paul Stanley, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehle, Gene was famous for their elaborate live performances, which featured fire breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits, and pyrotechnics.

After diagnosing Bieber with the "Beverley Hills Blues" the rocker wished him well.

He said: “He’s young; he’s got lots of fans."
