Fans slam Yummy Mummies star Maria...again
Yummy Mummies has once again sparked anger from viewers after Maria DiGeronimo got her three-month-old daughter's ears pierced.
The 34-year-old first-time mother, who copped backlash after saying breastfeeding in public should be "illegal", was labelled "cruel" by viewers who said her bub Valentina was too young for the procedure.
"I'm sorry but piercing your baby's ears at 3 months old is just cruel," one viewer tweeted, while another added, "So wrong piercing her ears! There's no need! Poor little darling."
In Tuesday night's episode, Maria declared she was going through with her decision to pierce Valentina's ears at such a young age because she "won't remember the pain anyway".
However her actions were met with some resistance, with the man responsible for the piercing saying parents often waited until their child was four or five before getting it done, adding it was possible the bub could pick up an infection.

Despite the resistance, viewers watched as the baby screamed in pain while getting it done, with Maria adding, "That little girl of mine is gonna sparkle and shine".
Mario later took to Instagram to show off her daughter's new bling, along with husband Carlo's, who also got his ears pierced at the same time, captioning the photo with the "#twins".
