Alex Nation drinks with Richie look-alike

After it was finally confirmed she and Richie Strahan are done and dusted, and suggested she had moved on with a woman, Alex Nation has stepped out to celebrate her birthday.

Clearly wanting to let off some steam, the mother-of-one was spotted hanging out with radio co-host Luke Forrest on Tuesday night as she celebrated her 26th birthday.

Looking relaxed and casual in sneakers and jeans, Alex appeared to be in high-spirits as she and Luke chatted over a bottle of wine at a Melbourne establishment with friends.

Alex and Luke, along Jay Bruno host a drivetime show on 88.3 FM.

It's been a big few days for the former Bachelor contestant, with friends close to the model telling New Idea that "Alex has found love in the arms of a woman" after breaking up with Richie.

The publications reported Alex had struck up a close relationship with Maegan Luxa, a 31-year-old chef from Melbourne.

"They are inseperable, spending very few nights apart, but it was all a bit of a shock," Alex's friend added.

The pair allegedly met while playing for the Frankston Bombers AFL team and bonded over their love for the sport, and Richie was yet to learn of his former love's new relationship!

It's understood Richie and Alex's relationship broke downwhen he failed to move from Perth to Melbourne to join her and her son Elijah.
