'Game of Thrones' stars talk incest scene
Their characters finally got it on after weeks of sexual tension on Game of Thrones, and now Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke have revealed what it was like film the steamy scene.
ICYMI: Much to the delight of fans, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen got hot and heavy in the season finale of the hit HBO series. The only issue? Turns out Dany is actually Jon's aunt after his real identity was finally confirmed. That's right, there's another incentuous relationship in Westros, only they don't know it yet. Awks. Check it out above.
And while Kit and Emilia admitted the scene was "weird" to film, they knew the hook-up between the King of the North and the Mother of Dragons was "inevitable".
"The reality of what they are to each other, I don't know how that's going to... I think [gagging] might be the reaction," Emilia said in a behind-the-scenes segment about the episode on HBO.
Meanwhile Kit added that there was going to be no way to stop the steamy hook-up happening.
"I think they both know it's wrong. I think they both know it's going to cause problems. But it's that thing, when you suddenly feel that deeply about someone and you go through these events together, it's like a runaway train," the 30-year-old actor said.
"I think it's an inevitability from about halfway through the season that Jon and Daenerys will fall into bed together. You can't stop it from happening."
Although both actors have appeared in the series since the beginning, Jon and Dany only shared screen time for the first time in season seven, and they continued saying when it came time to actually film the scene things got awkward!

"Both of us were going, 'Ahhh what are you doing on my set!? This is weird!" Emilia added, while Kit went on: "We were both kind of freaking out. Usually you start working on a movie and meet [a co-star] for the first time and you develop chemistry on screen over time.
"Here, you know somebody for seven years and you've watched their character on screen all that time. So it's a unique experience as an actor to come together and know the world is watching."
Looks like it's only set to get weirder, and more complicated in season eight!
